Discipleship Devotional
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
As I thought and prayed about what to share for today's Discipleship Devotional, I was spiritually led by God to ask you the following questions:
1. Do you sometimes feel like you are just existing/going through the moments?
2. Are there times when you don't feel like you have a purpose?
3. Are there unresolved conflicts in your life that make you feel like you are just existing instead of enjoying life?
Regardless of your answer to the above questions, I have four additional questions I will ask, answer, and explore with you over the course of the next four Discipleship Devotionals. After all questions have been asked, answered, and explored, two things will happen:
1. The three leading questions listed above will be answered.
2. You will be able to clear your path so that you can find purpose and solutions in your life, no matter the challenges you face.
I can make the above statements with confidence because there is no conflict too brutal for God, and with His help and guidance, there is nothing that cannot be either resolved or properly managed.
Each day, over the course of the next four days, I will ask, answer, and explore one of the following questions with you:
1. Whose feet do you sit at when it comes to holistic growth and productivity?
2. Who do you choose to lease space out to in your head and heart?
3. Do the living and working environments you expose yourself to daily fill you with joy and fulfillment or pain and regret?
4. At the end of a busy day, do you feel incarcerated or set free?
As you prepare for what life has in store for you today, please carry this Discipleship Devotional in your spirit, heart, and mind. Please take a moment to explore a question each day and then be prepared to compare your notes with the answers I give during each Discipleship Devotional.
