I can remember my mom saying, "No need to cry over spilled milk." As a child, I didn't fully understand what she meant by that statement, but I do now. I've learned that missed opportunities are not the end of life as you know it. We all want to seize opportunities that are a good fit for us, but don't give up if one passes by. It could be God's way of protecting you from something unforeseen, or it could be the enemy's attempt to rob you of potential advancement. Whatever the case may be, thank God for who He is and what He has the power to do in your life. If He's protecting you from something unknown, set aside time to thank Him. If the enemy is attempting to rob you of potential advancement, you can still thank God because God possesses the power to reopen any door the enemy has closed.

After you've cried over what could have been, lace up your boots and carry on. If you feel like you don't have boots to lace up, don't be dismayed because God also specializes in that area of life. I would like for each of my subscribers to carry Isaiah 43:18-19 in your spirit today:

"Forget the former things: do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland".

Remember, God is doing a new thing in your life!
