Did you know that Albert Einstein experienced significant speech delays during early childhood? In fact, he didn't start talking until age four. His parents were concerned about his possible retardation, and many mental health professionals today believe he suffered from Dyslexia. During his school years, he showed no special aptitude due to his dislike of rigid instructional methods, and school officials cited him as disruptive. He failed the entrance exam to a university several times, and many of his discoveries were achieved while working a low-level clerical job. Despite his many disadvantages, Albert Einstein is widely seen today as one of the smartest individuals who ever lived.

If Albert Einstein could overcome so many defects, what does that say about you and me?

I encourage you to carry in your heart Albert Einstein's story, along with the words of William Feather, who said, "Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go."

Are you facing disadvantages? If so, hang on by refusing to let go.

Are you lacking the funding you need to make your necessary moves? Again, I say, hang on by refusing to let go.

Don't allow your disadvantages to keep you from realizing your God-inspired and directed dreams.
